Habit OPCO - Lawrence Comprehensive Treatment Center provides a Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program for opioids.
Habit OPCO - Lawrence Comprehensive Treatment Center uses a combination of medication, counseling, and behavioral therapy to treat opioid addiction.
Medications used in the MAT include: Buprenorphine; Unlike methadone treatment, which must be performed in a highly structured clinic, buprenorphine is the first medication to treat opioid dependency that is permitted to be prescribed or dispensed in physician offices, significantly increasing treatment access.
Methadone; Methadone works by changing how the brain and nervous system respond to pain. It lessens the painful symptoms of opiate withdrawal and blocks the euphoric effects of opiate drugs such as heroin, morphine, and codeine, as well as semi-synthetic opioids like oxycodone and hydrocodone.
Naltrexone; Naltrexone blocks the euphoric and sedative effects of drugs such as heroin, morphine, and codeine. It works differently in the body than buprenorphine and methadone, which activate opioid receptors in the body that suppress cravings. Naltrexone binds and blocks opioid receptors, and is reported to reduce opioid cravings. There is no abuse and diversion potential with naltrexone.

Do NOT put yourself or a loved one through the agony of having false belief that their "Treatment", sobriety and well being is of a high priority, especially if it happens to affect the staff specifically. You do not get treatment, you are a number and you will get your medication daily as long as you jump through the hoops they make you jump through and you are a source to receive payment from. Nothing more, possibly Something less, depending on who you have to deal with. They do not tell you what the drug does to you physically or Mentally! No one helps you to get off the drug, they suggest you just go higher... They are so UNDER staffed they can not even ensure safety when forced to go there daily during a pandemic where your life is at risk. The Treatment Plan they tell you about is basically a multiple choice survey the "clinicians" fill out, no one works with you to meet your life goals... If anything they hold you down until you give in or Quit!
I have been on this clinic for a lot of years and yes, at the beginning I disagreed with everything that they wanted from me or expected out of me of course so I’m coming off of using drugs and I sure don’t wanna listen to them but I can tell you that it has worked tremendously for me. Take homes are so much easier today than they were before. As long as you don’t use simple don’t use get your takeoff, it’s great the people yes it’s hard they’re staffed understandably so they make no money. Be grateful for what we got in front of us everybody and if you’re new to this program stick with it it does work. I’ve been there for a while, respect the people that work there , if you have differences bring it up to them that’s OK you have different beliefs bringing up to them don’t degrade them online that is disgusting to me. We’ve done worse much worse than any of these people that work that have ever done OK get clean become a productive member of society and believe me your life will be more than you ever thought it would be but the object is to stay clean and this is a way to start you off.
